Meet Our Available Rescues
Our current animals waiting for a forever home.
Loved Into Readiness
Our dogs spend time in foster homes before adoption — not kennels. They arrive in your life already housebroken, socialized, and emotionally settled.
Fully Vetted & Healthy
Every dog is spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and cleared by a licensed veterinarian before placement.
Supported After Adoption
We don't disappear when you drive away. Our team is available to answer questions, offer guidance, and cheer you on as your new life together unfolds.

From Our Adoptive Families
The moment they come home, everything changes. Here's what our families say.

“Axel is the perfect fit — sweet, smart, playful. Our kids, and even our youngest Frenchie, are absolutely over the moon! We're grateful to Angels for trusting us with Axel.”
The Gulianello Family
Adopted Axel in August 2025

“We can't say enough good things about this rescue group. They rescued our sweet girl May, who has become the princess of our family. She's brought so much life and energy into our home—especially for her senior brother, who now acts like a puppy again. We are beyond thankful.”
Mollie & Zach B.
August 2024

“Waffles started out as a temporary foster while her regular foster was away on a long trip. But as soon as she arrived, she and our youngest pup became instant best friends—truly thick as thieves. Within just a few days, we knew she wasn't going anywhere. She's such an easy dog: goofy, sweet, and someone who finds joy in absolutely everything.”

Common Questions About Rescue Adoption
Everything you want to know before you apply.
How long does the adoption process take?expand_more
Most adoptions are completed within one to two weeks, from application to bringing your dog home. Processing time depends on application review, the home visit, scheduling a meet-and-greet, and completing the adoption agreement. We move as quickly as possible to ensure that every match is right.
Can I adopt if I rent my home?expand_more
Yes! Many of our adopters rent. You'll need to confirm that your lease permits pets, and we may ask for written landlord approval. If you need help communicating with your landlord, we can provide documentation about AttA and the adoption process.
Do your dogs get along with other pets and children?expand_more
Every dog in our program has been evaluated for temperament, and their foster family knows them well. We carefully document how each dog interacts with other animals, kids, and new environments — and we use that information to make thoughtful matches.
What's included in the adoption fee?expand_more
The $350 adoption fee for dogs covers spay or neuter surgery, full vaccination series, microchipping, a health examination by a licensed veterinarian, and any treatments administered during their time in our care. It's genuinely excellent value for everything included.
What happens if the adoption doesn't work out?expand_more
We ask that you return the dog to AttA rather than rehome them yourself. We have a return policy in place for exactly these situations — life happens, and we never want a dog to end up in an uncertain situation. We'll work with you to find a solution.
Can I meet a dog before I apply?expand_more
Absolutely. Usually we prefer a application, first, but we can make special case exceptions, if required. We want you to feel confident and excited — not pressured. Check our events page for upcoming opportunities.
